    Expandable polystyrene (EPS) is the raw material used in Plastro’s production process, it becomes over three stages in blocks or castings.

    The three stages are:

    Preexpansion
    Intermediate Rest
    Expansión final

    1. Preexpansion
    The feedstock is heated in a special facility, with water vapor at temperatures between approx. 80 and 110 ° C.
